Our slats are a heavy duty 100x16mm aluminium profile with 2 internal reinforcing ribs for maximum strength.

All slats are powder coated aluminium, meaning no rusting and no painting required. These screens are designed for long-term outdoor use in Australian conditions.

Our unique interlocking screw channel system securely locks all slats together while fully concealing the screws for a smooth architectural finish.

The concealed screw channels connect into strong 50x50mm aluminium side rails which then connect to your mounting brackets. Your outer side frames are a heavy duty 80x50mm aluminium section for additional strength and rigidity.

Important Measuring Information

Please make sure your overall width is larger than your actual window opening, as the mounting brackets require fixing space beside the window.

Most installs require approximately 60mm minimum fixing space each side, however some wall surfaces may require up to 100mm each side.

The standard stand-off mounting arms are supplied at 300mm long. These can easily be cut down if you want the screen mounted closer to the window.

Simple DIY Installation

1. Construct the screen on the ground first
2. Connect the concealed screw channels to the side rails
3. Insert the first slat and level it
4. Fix using supplied screws through the concealed channel
5. Insert your gap spacer
6. Continue installing slats one by one
7. Attach the mounting brackets to the rear of the screen
8. Insert the 300mm mounting arms
9. Lift and secure the screen to your wall surface

• Gap sizes refer to the space between slats only

Because slat and gap combinations may not divide equally into your total height, we may slightly adjust the overall height to suit the slat spacing system.
