HEAVY-DUTY ALUMINIUM CONSTRUCTION

Our louvre systems are manufactured from strong powder-coated aluminium designed for Australian outdoor conditions.

The 100mm x 16mm and 65mm x 16mm aluminium slats both feature two internal reinforcing ribs for additional strength.

The powder-coated aluminium finish means there is no regular painting required and very little ongoing maintenance.

Our louvre holders are rigid aluminium extrusions with precision-cut slat openings that hold every louvre at a consistent fixed angle.

A 50mm x 50mm aluminium box frame surrounds the complete panel, creating a strong, self-supporting finished screen.

We stock both 76mm x 76mm and 100mm x 100mm aluminium posts.

Our 76mm x 76mm aluminium posts start from $40 per linear metre, cut to your required length.

HOW VERTICAL LOUVRE WIDTHS WORK

Because this is a vertical louvre system, panel widths are determined by the number of complete louvre slats used.

For the 100mm louvre system, widths increase or decrease in approximately 106.5mm increments.

For the 65mm louvre system, widths increase or decrease in approximately 65.4mm increments.

If the exact width you provide does not finish perfectly on a complete vertical slat, we manufacture the surrounding frame with an even clearance on the left and right sides so the finished panel remains balanced.

Simply provide us with the overall height you require. We calculate the necessary allowances for the frame and louvre system.

SIMPLE DIY ASSEMBLY

Most customers assemble their louvre panels on the ground before installing the completed panel into position.

1. Assemble the 50mm x 50mm outer box frame using the supplied internal angles.
2. Position the louvre holder rails inside the frame.
3. Slide the first aluminium slat into the precision-cut louvre openings.
4. Check the slat is level and secure it from the rear using the supplied Tek screws.
5. Continue inserting the remaining slats.
6. Once all slats are fitted, carefully position the opposite louvre holder over the ends of the slats.
7. Secure the completed panel and install it into your opening.

We generally allow approximately 4mm overall clearance for the slats.

The screws are positioned externally, so when assembling your panel simply choose which side you want the fixings to face.

Protective film may be left on the aluminium during manufacturing. Remove the film from the sections being inserted into the louvre holders as you assemble the panel.

Important: We supply the screws required to assemble the louvre panel itself. Fixings required to attach the completed panel to your house, posts, brickwork, timber, steel or other structure are not included.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE ORDERING

• A $100 payment per custom panel is required before cutting for pick-up orders
• Custom orders are cut every Tuesday and Thursday.
• Protective film may remain on the material for you to remove after assembly.
• Please allow approximately 3–6mm manufacturing tolerance in final sizes.
• Vertical louvre widths work to fixed slat increments.
• We calculate the frame allowances from the overall dimensions you provide.

DIY SUPPLY ONLY

We do not provide home installation, site measuring or site visits.

You provide us with the required sizes and we manufacture the components to suit. Your order is then supplied as a custom-cut DIY flat-pack system ready for you to assemble and install.

This keeps our prices low and allows customers throughout Australia to access custom-made aluminium screening without paying traditional fencing-company installation prices.
